You may have seen us sharing videos and images from Southern Forest and Valleys (SF&V) over the last few months and we are excited to announce that we can now share the new Southern Forest and Valleys website.
Southern Forests and Valleys is the Tourism arm of the Warren Blackwood Alliance Council.
The Warren Blackwood Alliance of Councils (WBAC) is a Voluntary Regional Organisation of Councils representing the Shires of Boyup Brook, Bridgetown-Greenbushes, Donnybrook-Balingup, Manjimup and Nannup. The WBAC was formed in 2001 following the restructure of the timber industry to work as a collective body on issues affecting those areas in the Warren and Blackwood catchments.
This collaborative approach to tourism, with each Shire contributing to funding, is an excellent way to showcase the region’s attractions and increase visitation. By promoting the entire region while also providing detailed information about Bridgetown and Greenbushes, it caters to a broader audience and attracts more visitors.
You will start to see co-branding with the Visitor Centre and SF&V which will help create a cohesive and recognisable tourism brand, enhancing the visibility of the region’s offerings. Additionally, the planned Bridgetown Greenbushes specific tourism site for the Visitor Centre will further highlight the unique attractions and opportunities available in our area.
Alongside the move of the Visitor Centre to the railway station, there are lots of exciting developments to look forward to surrounding tourism in our towns, welcoming tourists and promoting all we have to offer.
