There is a great opportunity for you as community members to take part in an online course offered by DFES.
Online Rural Bushfire Awareness is targeted at farmer response brigades and seasonal workers to provide students with a basic awareness of fireground safety, suppression strategies and maintaining their safety when operating on a fireground.
The course is 2 - 3 hrs and can be accessed via this PDF.
We all hope we won't have to deal with a situation like this but this course provides information that is extremely valuable to know if you ever do.
