Councils Access and Inclusion Committee is always working hard to identify barriers to accessibility and inclusion in our towns and communities, but one member, Roberta Waterman has gone above and beyond in supporting the Shires efforts to improve our accessibility through out our townsites.
Roberta offered the use of an accessibility expert to walk the streets of Bridgetown with shire officers to provide an audit on the safety and accessibility of our main streets. Once the audit was complete the information was collated into an action plan by our hard-working technical services officer. We are hoping these works will be completed in the coming financial year.
