Greenbushes Primary School has been educating children in our community for 130 years! Since 1893 have been immersed in a haven of learning. This year, the school was reviewed by the Department of Education’s Public School Accountability directorate and received multiple commendations for the items listed below (taken from the report itself):
- The positive tone in the relationships between students and staff, ensuring students are able to maintain a focus on their learning.
- The intentional effort to build staff capacity to engage positively and productively in school planning.
- Students positively describe the opportunities to develop their public speaking skills, with some notable success.
- Staff described the emergence of a mutually respectful and collaborative culture in which the blend of new and existing staff has had an empowering influence on their combined professional efficacy.
The Greenbushes Primary School currently has 38 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 who are continuing the learning legacy in Greenbushes. You can view the full departmental report here.
