Art Exhibition: Velvet Oasis - Coming Home

Local artist Cassi Jo Davis delivered an inspiring talk on January 4th to launch her stunning exhibition; Velvet Oasis - Coming Home.

Among the standout pieces on display is “Blackwood River Healing,” an artwork inspired by the soothing essence of the Blackwood River and its restorative waters. This theme of healing and refuge resonates throughout the exhibition, encapsulated in its title, Velvet Oasis – Coming Home. This title was thoughtfully selected as Cassi explored the spiritual significance of an oasis—a potent symbol of sanctuary and renewal.
