Special Council Meeting - 24 October 2023

A Special Meeting of Council is to be held at 5.30pm, Tuesday 24 October 2023 in the Council Chambers for the purpose of:
- swearing-in newly elected Councillors
- electing and swearing-in of Shire President
- electing and swearing-in of Deputy President
- allocation of seating arrangements for the 2023/25 term of office
- determining the suite of Advisory Committees and approving their Instruments of Appointment.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting. Note Public Question Time is restricted to questions on the business of the special meeting only.
The agenda for the meeting will be available for public viewing here or at the Bridgetown Library during operating hours, from Friday 20 October 2023.
An additional Special Meeting of Council is to be held on Tuesday 24 October 2023 in the Council Chambers for the purpose of:
- Granting CEO delegated authority to vary Restricted Burning Periods
- Additional and urgent specific gravel road works.
The meeting will commence directly after the conclusion of the previous special meeting.
